Challenging Your Children

Posted by mickeykiest07 on September 4, 2011 at 4:25 AM

Whether you realize it or not, everything you do as a parent is being watched by your children. People learn most by watching and imitating others, and that is why children do so many things the same as their parents. The hard part of parenting is knowing that children, emulate the bad things that parents do as often, or more often, than the good. All you have to do is look at what you do that your parents did to know that this is true. Good days and bad days are what life is, and so it is just a matter of how people deal with them. Children continue to learn by example, so watching how a parent deals with bad days, can be a positive learning experience or a negative one. To often parents have their own selfish attitudes and are not overly concerned what it is doing to their children.

Every person on this planet is unique, and your children are no different, therefore you need to be cognizant of their uniqueness and learn more about them everyday. It is commonly thought that this is a natural occurrence because we spend so much time watching over our kids. The more you learn about their individual personalities, the more you will be able to assist them throughout their lives. You will see clues about your child's abilities, strengths and challenges. Once you know your kids in great detail, you can help them accomplish what they want to do whether it is a sporting activity or a hobby.

Your kids will all have a favorite subject as they go through school, something that is hardwired into their brains according to experts in this field. Your kids internal molecular structure plays a large role in whether or not they are academically oriented or choose a different direction. As they grow older, children will learn to enjoy different topics that they are interested in and some that they will not like many things at all. Parents that actually know their children will have a better chance of helping them as they grow up. Obviously each child needs to at least understand the value of successfully completing high school. If they need help with any subject, make sure that they realize you will help them by hiring a tutor if they need it.

If your children are not that adept with school subjects, they may become increasingly moody as their stress levels increase and they continue to fail. When kids are not doing very well in school, they will feel depressed and sometimes are unable to deal with their feelings of inadequacy. Some kids will tease others that cannot keep up in class, or answer questions that are asked on a regular basis. You can use positive parenting approaches by being aware of your child's academic situation and offering to help. Positive parents will always take the initiative to sit down with their kids, talk with them, and figure out a mutual course of action. Also, be sure to give your child an opportunity to express his or her feelings, and then make clear that help can be obtained. Parenting is one of the most challenging experiences that any human being will ever face. propagators, apple storage racks, propagation mat
